For the organisers of SECURITY, the past trade show could go on the records as one of the most successful. About 42,000 visitors informed themselves systematically about products and services for security and fire protection with the 1,078 exhibitors from 38 nations. In comparison to last year, considerably more visitors travelled to Essen from abroad and they came from 113 countries.
The appearance at the trade show was a great success for KESO as well. The stand presented itself open and modern with an underlying tone of Swissness and dependability. The focus was clearly on the innovative products and solutions which were presented in large numbers.
The novelties – especially the masterkeyable euro profile short cylinder K4000S Omega and the electronic KESO KEK i-turn thumbturn double cylinder – convinced the visitors of the innovative strength of these products. The KESO network-on-key technology for mechatronic and electronic stand-alone locking systems and their compatible identification media also aroused a great deal of attention - as did the KESO Management Software k-entry®. The customer event with the motto "Swiss Evening" was a further highlight. Guests were spoiled with culinary delights such as fine cheese and bread specialities as well as original Zuger Kirschtorte. Local Swiss wine rounded it all off. The event was accompanied by sounds from Alpine horns and accordions which invited the guests to take part in stimulating conversation.
